If you don't have the time, money, or support to build yourself a fancy new solar model car from scratch, why not try building a model solar car kit instead.  No registration is required to enter!

The mini-challenge kit car racing event usually takes place in the morning (or the first day) of the Sunchase Challenge.  Check the Calendar and/or registration links for specific dates/times.

There are no formalised Mini-Challenge rules.  Simply build the model solar car kit from the package and do not make any modified enhancements for fairness.  If this does not provide you the challenge you desire, then may we suggest you proceed to building a full up model solar car and enter that in the main event!  See the rules, registration, and solar links pages to get more details about racing the bigger cars.
